With 17 years of experience in design, branding, and marketing, I’ve learned that the most impactful creative work isn’t just visually compelling—it’s about forging real connections with audiences. From concept to execution, I specialize in crafting immersive brand experiences that resonate, engage, and inspire. My passion lies in storytelling through design, blending strategy and creativity to elevate brands and create meaningful consumer interactions.

From small businesses to members of the Inc. 5000 spanning across industries, every brand has a story to tell. I take great pride in offering not only my expertise to the brands I've had the privilege of working with but my love for visual storytelling to transform campaigns, concepts, and creativity into measurable results.

FREELANCE WORK
GRAPHIC DESIGNER/PHOTOGRAPHER
After winning the Adobe Photoshop World Scholarship for three consecutive years, I began to establish myself in the community as a designer and photographer for small businesses.
PHOTOGRAPHY, CUSTOMER SERVICE & SALES
While attending the College of the Ozarks, I was hired as the primary photographer for a memory-making contractor at a local theme park. During this time, I became their top seller and led staged photoshoots, photo editing, customer service, and sales. Additionally, I worked simultaneously to set up a new zip-line company in town, managing the photography team and overseeing equipment acquisition, editing standard operating procedures, and sales tracking and fulfillment.
2010-2015
VOLUNTEER MEDIA
DESIGN DIRECTOR/MEDIA COORDINATOR
While at the College of the Ozarks, I served as the Design Director for the yearbook, earning accolades for the fresh, innovative look I brought to the video and magazine-style book. After college, I worked as the Media Coordinator in Fiji for a missions group, where I expanded their marketing reach and managed a team of nine, overseeing social media content, print media, and video production projects. I also maintained a personal blog as part of my internship. A second internship took me to Italy and Austria, where I acted as a teacher and photojournalist for the English Camp Company, leading English immersion camps.
2014-2016
TEAM PROMARK
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
At a sports licensing company, I managed social media, e-commerce, and the product website, handled trade show setup, and led product development and design for NFL, MLB, NBA, NCAA, and NHL-licensed products.
I was also responsible for the design, pre-production, and data management of a large catalog of goods
for B2B communication.
2016 - 2017
CLEAR MARKETING AGENCY
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
My reputation in southwestern Missouri led to my appointment as Creative Director for a burgeoning marketing agency. After relocating from Colorado back to the Midwest, I managed 18+ brands at any given time with my team of six.
An average day in this role involved leading daily team meetings, assigning tasks, conducting market research to inform brand direction and campaign strategies, and prepping for photo and video shoots for digital and traditional marketing efforts for small and large tourism companies. I frequently assisted my team in design execution and photography, completing over 50 photoshoots.

After just one year in this position, I was honored to win several first-place Midwestern "ADDY" advertising awards, competing against much larger creative firms from Dallas, TX, to the Great Lakes region. It was an incredible experience that fostered my growth, and I truly enjoyed leading my team and clients to success.
2017-2022
EXPRESSO COFFEE LLC
OWNER/OPERATOR/ ENTREPRENEUR
While I genuinely loved my role as Creative Director, I had always dreamed of owning my own brick-and-mortar business—specifically, a coffee shop. After 18 months at the marketing agency, the perfect lot became available, prompting me to pursue my dream full-time. My experience as Creative Director taught me the invaluable connection between a brand and how its consumers experience the product. Building my own brand from the ground up allowed me to ensure that product, building, and branding developed simultaneously.

Through market research and customer feasibility studies, I identified my target audience within the first three months. From there, my contractors began working on the building design based on my sketches, and we planned for a 2018 opening. After months of strategic campaigns, live updates, and social media advertising, Expresso Coffee opened in August 2018 to great success and press coverage. Our brand maintained its voice and gained local and national notoriety, with every detail—from the aroma of the coffee to the texture of the coffee cups—planned according to my target customer profile.
After being awarded "Best Coffee Shop in Branson" in 2021 and 2022, I was approached by my family to consider selling the Expresso to relocate to Florida.
I successfully sold my business in May 2022
and moved to pursue full-time creative marketing.
2008-Present
FREELANCE CONSULTING
BRANDING CONSULTANT
Throughout my career, I’ve been the go-to consultant for brands looking to refine their identity, tell their story, and connect with their audience in a meaningful way.
From helping a local skate park in high school to shaping the brand presence of an internationally recognized band with nearly 260 million YouTube views, I’ve had the opportunity to craft compelling narratives across industries. While balancing a busy career, I’ve remained dedicated to helping businesses build their brands through strategic design, emotive photography, digital presence, and social media storytelling.
Owning and running my own businesses has reinforced what I’ve always believed—branding is about connection. Even the best product or service can struggle without the right positioning and an emotional investment.
That’s where I thrive—merging creativity with strategy to transform brands into immersive experiences that captivate audiences.
As I look ahead, I’m eager to bring this passion and expertise into a full-time directing role, where I can continue to shape bold, out-of-the-box brand strategies.
2022-2023
PLAYFAIR DATA
Manager of Brand Strategy
After relocating to Orlando, I joined Playfair Data, an award-winning visual analytics consultancy known for transforming complex data into compelling, intuitive stories. In this role, I led brand strategy initiatives, ensuring consistency and innovation across marketing, design, and digital experiences. I collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to develop high-impact campaigns, refine Playfair Data’s brand voice, and elevate its market presence. By leveraging my expertise in design, content strategy, and creative leadership, I helped strengthen the company’s positioning in the data visualization space.

As Playfair Data continued to evolve, I took the opportunity to refine my focus on creative direction and storytelling, aligning with my passion for immersive brand experiences. This transition set the stage for my next chapter—returning to entertainment and experiential design, where I could further blend strategy with visually compelling narratives.
